A walk that begins under the monument “Il Vignaiolo a La Morra” and go on among the vineyards is the better way to breathe the air of our land, to live the rhythm of nature and to enter into the dimension regulating Langhe’s territory.
The walk will be the occasion to listen to the voice of a guide narrating the wine history and how Barolo’s history is strictly connected to the Italian history.
The halfway destination of this trip will be the Chapel “SS. Maria delle Grazie” belonging to Cantina Ceretto. This chapel has never been consecrated and it has been built in 1914 to collect people who worked in the surrounding vineyards in case of storms or violent hailstorms. Today it has been restored in a completely eccentric way, thanks to the British artist David Tremlett, great lover of wine, and to the American Sol Lewitt. The itinerary could be concluded with a cocktail or with lunch in a wine cellar or in a restaurant of the area: sure they are not lacking.
The farm group, accompanied by a professional guide, will enjoy the beautiful landscape rewarded by UNESCO with the recognition of Humanity Heritage and will follow the rhythms and the calm of the territory which is the most connected to vineyards and wine.
