Fenoglio’s hills

The writer Beppe Fenoglio, author of some of the most touching pages of partisan resistance, lived in Alba (CN) in the house which today hosts the Study Centre Beppe Fenoglio and the Gallizio Space; he described our Langhe’s hills with a language full of magic, love and great dispassion too: these hills are the Langhe described in “La Malora”, in the tales, in “La Sposa Bambina”, but also the Langhe described in “La paga del sabato” and in “Il partigiano Johnny”.

The itinerary starts from Alba, where there’s his native house and where one can see the scenographies of his various tales of partisan life.

The experience continues on the hills of Treiso, Mango or on Murazzano, Feisoglioand San Benedetto Belbo…
